CN22 EN When is the CN22 Form Required?

The CN22 form is a customs document used when sending parcels to countries outside the European Union with a lower value. Customs use this form to assess what is inside the package, its estimated value, and the purpose of its shipment. Without a correctly completed CN22 form, your consignment can be delayed or even refused at the border.

When is the CN22 Form Required?

A CN22 form is required when you send goods outside the EU with a value under €300. This form is typically used for small, non-commercial shipments such as gifts or samples. For commercial shipments or if there's any doubt about the value, a CN23 may still be required. You attach the CN22 form to the package, usually in the upper right next to the shipping label.

When completing a CN22, it's necessary to specifically describe what's inside the package. Vague terms like “clothing” or “accessories” can lead to customs delays.
